What is the refund policy?

Does Kemasabe Laboratory Services accept insurance?

Kemasabe Laboratory Services does not offer refunds for mobile services where healthcare professionals visit your location to provide services.

Does Kemasabe Laboratory Services accept insurance?

No, we are not accepting insurance at this time. We do not bill insurance for our at-home mobile services. All payments for these services are made directly to Kemasabe Laboratory Services. Insurance information is collected only for the laboratory to bill for any blood tests requested by you or your provider.

You will need the ordering physician's orders. Also, please verify that your health insurance is active.

If your test requires fasting labs, you must fast for at least 8-12 hours before your appointment.

Are there any cancellation fees?

Yes, all bookings are subject to a non-refundable $50 cancellation fee. If an appointment is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, a non-refundable reschedule will be offered for a later date and time.

Rescheduling is allowed at no charge if done at least 24 hours before the appointment. Appointments cannot be rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled time. No-shows will result in the full charge of the requested services.

Is there an ideal time to book a blood draw?

Unless your doctor specifies a time, you can book your blood draw at any convenient time. However, blood draws after 4 pm on weekends may experience delays in drop-off and laboratory processing, which could increase the risk of the sample becoming unusable. Kemasabe Laboratory Services does not issue refunds in this scenario.
